Linköping University – communicating energy for behavioural change
Sweden
Together with Linköping University, Placeholder is workong on a three-year project exploring how energy communication can move beyond raising awareness to create lasting behavioural change.
Funded by the Swedish Energy Agency (Energimyndigheten), the project brings together academic research, strategic communication, and applied behavioural science to develop a national handbook with evidence-based recommendations for more effective energy communication.
Started in 2024 and concluding in 2026, the project provides practical guidance for organisations and communicators working to encourage more energy-efficient behaviours across Sweden.
The final handbook will be published in November 2026.
